Nearly ten years ago, following extensive restoration work, Hotel Katajanokka opened its doors in May 2007. The first ten years as a Best Western hotel have been truly amazing, however now the time has come to go our own way as an independent hotel.
The independent and renewed Hotel Katajanokka will invite you to celebrate its 10-year birthday next year, but before that, it is time to freshen up a bit. In 2016, the hotel will undergo a light refurbishment and an extensive interior decoration. The result will be a unique, modern design hotel with stylish décor and exceptional service, set in a historic prison atmosphere. Inside the red brick walls, you will find a magic world of contrasts – with serene comfort, stylish design and a hint of Nordic luxury.
