Hotel Katajanokka was announced as the best Luxury Historical Hotel in Finland. The winners of the annual World Luxury Hotel Awards were announced on 12 October 2019 at the Arctic TreeHouse Hotel in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland. Award serves as recognition of sustained commitment to excellence in hoteliering and outstanding achievement in the international luxury hospitality industry. Each year the awards recognize best luxury hotels globally, as well as on the country and continent level. This was the thirteenth event of its kind.
Hotel Katajanokka has been recognized for its high-class customer service for a long time. It was declared the 2016 Luxury Design Hotel at the World Luxury Hotel Awards and Finland’s Leading Boutique Hotel 2018 & 2019 at the World Travel Awards. TripAdvisor has awarded the hotel with its Travellers’ Choice from year 2011 on.
